NL 202

German bus - NL202-EN92
NL 202-EN92

Although the BVG did not purchase 2nd generation buses of the MAN NL202, several private Berlin bus companies did so and offered a transport service on behalf of the BVG starting in 1992.

These buses were given numbers in the 8000 section to easily distinguish them from BVG buses. It was not until 1996 that the BVG purchase another batch of MAN single deckers, then being NL262 fitted with enhanced Euro-II engines.
